Del Toro talks Hobbit, Tarzan and Frankenstein

Guillermo del Toro relays the latest information on The Hobbit to IGN. Furthermore, the director addresses the current statuses of Tarzan, Frankenstein, and DC Comics’ Dead Man. While Tarzan has been dropped, del Toro is still co-producing Dead Man with Don Murphy and Susan Montford. As for Frankenstein, it appears the filmmaker has ambitious plans for the project.

Del Toro to build Frankenstein’s monster

Once finished with the Hobbit films, director Guillermo Del Toro would like to tackle a re-visioning of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus. Wishing Doug Jones to play the famous monster, Del Toro would not unveil to Shock Till You Drop his choice for Victor Frankenstein. “I won’t say anything ’cause then you would know what I’m doing,” teased the director.

Del Toro not certain of Hobbit sequel

Guillermo del Toro is eager to helm the film adaptation of The Hobbit.
